第二句好像缺乏句子成分,并且一前一后有两个主语 they 和 both of the last two boys,
但是both of 的表达没有错误,
可以把第二句改成

或者

all/all of的区别
All the other girls are Chinese.(BI,P92)所有其他的女孩都是中国人.
All of the Chinese students are Young Pioneers.(BI,P92)所有中国学生都是少先队员.
[辨析] 一般说来,all和all of 都可以放在有限定词(如冠词、物主代词等)修饰的名词之前.上面第二个句子中的of也可去掉.例如：
All (of) my friends are working hard.我的朋友都在努力工作.
All (of) the food is good to eat.所有的食品都好吃.
但是,如果名词前面没有限定词,则不能用all of.试译：
误：All of children like watching TV.
正：All children like watching TV.
All of 后面还可跟人称代词宾格(us,you,them),all 则不能.例如：
All of us are very busy.我们大家都很忙.

误：All them are workers.

不要把英语学成死东西，就是很自然的表达，of就是“的”的意思
实际运用表示所有的意思，用不用都是可以的。意思都说的通。
