Folic acid is a debatable nutrient because it may have some bad efforts on people’s health.For this character,many countries ban it.But the lecture raises an opposite clearly against the idea that folic acid is a dangerous nutrient.The professor shows some proofs to explain his opinion.
First,the reading declare that folic acid is linked to many diseases,including cancer,a disease people still have no solution on it now.However,the listening does not regard folic acid as the connection with the disease of cancer.15% is just an average number.It has not persuasion.Furthermore,the young pregnant women need more folic acid,which will help them to keep health of both kids and themselves.
Secondly,the passage thinks folic acid has an adverse effort on elderly people due to the prevention from other vital nutrients.On the contrary,the professor asserts that the folic acid does protect aged people from disease.It is obviously that folic acid is a good helper to old people’s health.
Finally,the reading suggested that adding folic acid into vitamin supplements is an excellent way for people to take it by themselves.Nevertheless,it is also not a way good enough to absorb this useful nutrient.The professor shows a better method to get it.He thinks taking vitamin supplements is not necessary for all people.Contrasted by supplements,people have bread more regularly.For the reason,we’d better take folic acid with bread,which can assist us absorb it more efficiently.
