How have you been during these days?
I'm sorry to tell you but I can't go to Nanjing during the winter vacation to spend a week with you, because I just learnt that I will have an important exam to take at the beginning of next term. So I have to study hard for it during the holiday. That's why I'm writing to you to cancel this trip.
