其实第二种说法没什么语法错误,只是我们一般不那么说.
be doing不止表示现在进行时,还表示打算做什么事.比如：we are throwing a party.这句话可以代表“我们正在party”,还可以表示”我们打算办一个party“.再比如：I am going shopping. 这句话怎么也不能理解成“我正在去购物”,正确翻译是“我正准备去购物”.
你这句话也是be doing结构,be going hiking,准备去登山.
而第二句going to do 也表示打算干什么,这是相对比第一句,这样说句子长,说起来费时间费口水,所以很多人直接用be doing表示将来.
怎么区分,看实际情况理解,一般很好区分.

应为going把to go to 取代了
