这两句话出自人教版高三英语教科书,第1句中的this和第2句中的people后面为什么不加系动词.
第一个句子要考查prove的用法,当它表示“被证明是,原来是”的时候本身就是一个系动词,用主动不能用被动
第二个句子people后面的部分full of action and ideas 是定语,你要加系动词就加上who are才行,这样就变成一个定语从句,单纯加are就会出现两个are 作谓语而且还不是并列结构,句子却只有一个主语,所以不行
1、prove 可以相当于系动词
2、are 就是系动词，中间的词组是修饰people的
