Look at sample CV and cover letters on the internet, write in formal language, avoid using the same verb again in a sentence! You have used hope 3 times in your last paragraph! That's just poor!
Tell them what activities you have planne in the economics student union, sell yourself and your ability!
Structure your letter, put your CV on a different page from your cover letter.
sincerely is fine, but most people write 'yours sincerely'
