Rambo,who retired from the U.S.Special Forces,got the baptism in Vietnam War for many years,he had been unable to integrate into the American society anymore.He strayed to Holiday Town,but he just got many picky and unresonalbe criticisms from sergeant of town.Finally,he couldn't stand this anymore.He had to resist not only the provocation of the sergeant,but also the large number of regimental police called by sergeant.Rambo applied his military knowledge in Vietnam to resist these people.In addition to the colonel who he respected,no one,no law and no weapon could stop him.The director Ted.Kotcheff not only made this action scene so nervous,but also shot the implication that a nobody overthrew Institution evil forces so excitement.

Rambo (John), after retired from the US army special force, and has been baptised in the Vietnam War for years. He could no longer blend in with the American society. Having strayed to a holiday town, where he received a lot of fussy and bad rap from the local sheriff. Eventually, He just couldn't take it anymore. He stood up to the police chief's unreasonable provocations and fought against the whole police special force the sheriff had bought along.
Rambo was using his military technique, which he had often used in the Vietnam War to fight against these people. Apart from his respectable ex-superior commander Colonel Trautman, no other people, no law and no weapon could possibly stop him!

With his nightmarish experience in the Vietnam war, Rambo found it difficult to
adapt and re-integrate into the American society after his retirement from the Special Forces of the US Army. Worse still, he was picked upon and unreasonably
accused by the sheriff as he strayed through a small town. After having consumed all his tolerance, Rambo finally decided to fight back against the provocation
of the sheriff as well as the National Guard that he subsequently called up. Equipped
with his well-proven military skills as a veteran back from Vietnam, Rambo fought and out-maneuvered them all. No person, no law and no weapon was able to stop him - except the Colonel he respected. As director of the film, Ted Kotcheff has successfully
created tremendous tense with a series of well-arranged and tightly-paced action scenes, while the notion that even small
potatoes can stand up against evil establishment is a comforting relief welcomed
by many spectators.
