当然是形容词‘ 短的,矮的’它的反义词是：long长的； 或/ tall 高的
通常作形容词，偶尔也有副词的用法，如：
We wanted to explain the plans fully, but the chairman stopped us short.
（我们还想详细地解释那些计划，但主席把我们叫停了。）
short 还可以作名词，有“短路”的意思，还有“短片”的意思。
