怎样将状语从句变为分词短语

当时间状语从句,原因状语从句的主语与主句的主语一致时,均可将从句变为分词状语短语.变化后的句子主语（原主句主语）又成为分词的逻辑主语.具体改写方法如下：1 当从句的谓语动词是主动语态的一般时态或进行时态时,变从句为一般式的现在分词短语.例如：When she saw the jewels , she jumped with joy.Seeing the jewels , she jumped with joy.他一看见那些珠宝, 就高兴地跳了起来.While he was walking along the sands , Crusoe saw in the sand the mark of a man’s foot.Walking along the sands , Crusoe saw in the sand the mark of a man’s foot.克鲁索沿着沙滩漫步时, 看见沙子中留有人得脚印.2 从句的谓语部分是“be +形容词或名词”的系表结构时,变从句为“being+表语”的现在分词短语.例如：As she is a tailor, she knows what to do with this material .Being a tailor , she knows what to do with this material. 因为她是个裁缝, 她知道如何处理这块布料.3 从句的谓语动词是被动语态的一般时态,变从句为过去分词短语.例如：As they are led by the party , the people have greatly improved their living condition .------ Led by the party, the people have greatly improved their living condition.在党的领导下,人们的生活状况得到了极大地改善4 从句的谓语部分是“be+过去分词“的系表结构时,变从句为过去分词短语.例如：As he was filled with new ideas , the young man invented many kinds of modem machines.----- Filled with new ideas , the young man invented many kinds of modern machines.那个年轻人脑子里都是些新想法,发明了许多现代机器.5 从句的谓语动词是完成时态,变从句为完成式现在分词短语.例如：As I had seen him before , I easily recognized him.---- Having seen him before, I easily recognized him.因为我以前见过他,所以我很容易就认出他.When we had been shown the labs , we were taken to the library.----- Having seen the labs , we were taken to the library.6 从句是由after 引导,谓语动词是一般时态, 变从句为完成式现在分词短语.例如：After she lit a candle ,she went out .----- Having lit a candle ,she went out.她点着蜡烛后就出去了.7 从句是否定句时,把从句变成否定式分词短语,即“not+分词短语“.例如：As he didn’t know what to do , he asked me for help.Not knowing what to do , he asked me for help.由于工作做得不好,所以要全部返工.8 从句跟在主语后时,应将改写后的分词短语至于句首.例如：The park looks very beautiful when it is seen from the hill.Seen from the hill, the park looks very beautiful.9 从句是名词作主语时,应将这个名词调换到主句的主语位置,再作从句的改写.例如：As the factory was regarded as the best one in the city, it was given a medal.Regarded as the best one in the city , the factory was given a medal.因为这个工厂被认为是这个城市中最好的,所以它被授予一个奖章.10 如果由when或while 引导的从句的时态是进行时态,从句可变成“when(while)+现在分词短语”,置于句首,句末均可.
