B:Hm...Sounds true!That English has become the first truly global language is undeniable.It is said that you can communicate with whatever people from whichever country as long as you can speak English.Well,maybe a little exaggerated yet pretty much like the case.What do you think has made English so?
A:Hm...From my point of view,technology could be the reason.Nowaday many top products are developed by English spoken people from English spoken countries.Especially by those American scientists,or at least by those scientists who studies in America.And since others wanna know more about the technique,they would get more eager to learn the language.What's more,English is the most adopted official language by most of the organizations of the United Nations.
B:Yeah,I agree with you on this point.It is just like a virtuous circle,the more field that English put its feet in as the first one,the more people would like to study English as they wanna get a better understanding about the new,and in return,there will be continuous progress made in the field thus the circle keeps running and English is applied widerly and widerly.
A:Yes,you are right.Well,I think there must be a deeper reason lying somewhere.So I would like to go to the library to find it out.Would you to come with me?
B:Can't be better.Let's go.
