The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like Christmas in the West. All people go back to their hometown and enjoy family reunion with their relatives. But for those who are too busy to return home, they will send a postcard or make a phone call to their parents or children.
For me, this vacation was not relaxing at all. I was busy doing my homework. Besides, I had to visit many relatives with my parents. The only day when I felt relaxed was exactly the Spring Festival when my mom told me that I did not have to do homework. So I watched TV and played computer games. At night we turned on all lights and the house was really bright. It means that we will have a bright year. At 12 o' clock my father and I played firework. The dark sky became colorful and beautiful. At that moment, I made a wish that this city --- Wenzhou will become more powerful in Year of the ox and my family will be happy in this coming year!
